The first EP from Napoleon called "First to Fall" is a perfect collection of sound. I love how their first song, "Money Talks" kicks off the EP very smoothly but very heavy. That trend continues throughout the EP. Another thing I took away, the song "Keep Your Mouth Shut... Or Else" had amazing background vocals. These guys know how to mix their voices, it adds an element to it. I couldn't help but notice that Metallica inspired guitar solo too.
"Desert" starts off slow and groovy, you'll notice the bass throughout the song. A solo in that song reminded me of Metallica again. "Take My Hand" this one starts off with a groovy drum beat. Again, great work with the backing vocals here. The guitar soloing in this song take you on an adventure, a perfect addition. "Left to Die" is a short but faster song. I can feel the anger in this one. Perfect way to close this EP.
